Rose Red's previous owners have their story told in the ABC movie, The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer. This prequel to the Stephen King mini series is based on the best selling novel by Ridley Pearson, bringing back to life the haunting characters of the mysterious mansion.

Lisa Brenner (Mel Gibson's The Patriot) stars as Ellen, the submissive new bride to the wealthy industrialist, John Rimbauer - played by Steven Brand (Memnon from The Scorpion King). The tragic and haunted story chronicles their bizarre relationship, the paranormal origins of the home, and the scandalous and disturbing events in 1900's Seattle.

Also featuring: Eric Keenleyside (Dreamcatcher), Brad Greenquist (Pet Semetary), and reprising her role from Rose Red as the African handmaid Sukeena, Tsidii Leloka.

The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer airs Monday, May 12, 2003 at 9pm
