Halle Berry plays a doctor, Penelope Cruz plays her patient ... this would be quite an erotic fantasy for most men ... but then, Robert Downey Jr. shows up in the supernatural thriller, Gothika.

Gothika is a ghost story about psychiatrist-turned-patient Dr. Miranda Grey (Halle Berry). She and her husband, Douglas, have been treating inmates at an insane asylum for years. Her favorite patient is Chloe (Penelope Cruz), a deeply disturbed young woman who blames her murders on satanic influences. But one rainy night driving home would change her life forever ...

Not Alone.

She nearly runs over a mysterious woman, and the next thing she knows ... Dr. Grey wakes up a patient in her own asylum. She comes to find out she is accused of murdering her own husband. She has no memory of it, but as they say ... ignorance of the law is no excuse for killing your husband ... or something like that.

Lots of twists and turns and general warping of reality make this a creepy little ghost story. Although, the most frequent question on the net regarding this film was whether or not Halle Berry and Penelope Cruz got naked together (I won't spoil it with an answer).
